Aircraft Noise

Aircraft noise is the most significant cause of adverse community reaction related to the operation and expansion of airports. This is expected to remain the case in most regions of the world for the foreseeable future. Limiting or reducing the number of people affected by significant aircraft noise is therefore one of ICAO’s main priorities and one of the Organization’s key environmental goals.

Hurray! But ICAO’s vision is to achieve the sustainable growth of the global civil aviation system. With the mission: to serve as the global forum of States for international civil aviation. ICAO develops policies and Standards, undertakes compliance audits, performs studies and analyses, provides assistance and builds aviation capacity through many other activities and the cooperation of its Member States and stakeholders.

ICAO stimulates aviation and with it the misery for citizens living under flight paths.

Sustainable aviation does not exist and quiet and clean aircraft are a myth.
