On 12th December pyjama parties took place in 12 cities across Europe to back the creation of a fully connected, affordable European night-train network. Supporters of several groups – including Stay Grounded, Back on Track and ATERRA – gathered at train stations across 12 European cities, staging “Pyjama Parties for Night Trains”. From Lisbon to Vienna, and in cities such as Amsterdam, Basel, Berlin, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Malmö, Paris, Stockholm and Strasbourg, and even a tiny Portuguese train stop in Fungalvaz, people showed up in pyjamas, carrying pillows and dancing on night-train.
